I've been living in this apartment since the middle of December and I still feel like I'm living in a hotel. It simply does not feel like home to me. What makes this situation worse is I am drawing a blank on how to make it feel more like home. On top of all this, I'm sleeping so poorly that I'm not sure if it's even considered a sleep anymore.

I just don't know what to dooooooooooo.

One day at a time. One day at a time.

Something that kind of crawls under my skin is the smell or the lack of it. Like, when you walk in to a hotel it smells like a hotel, not like "you" and that's the same with this apartment. It smells exactly as it did before the move in. I'm not expecting a bad smell but sometimes I really just want to go through the whole place and drown it in my perfume. *laughs*

Also, there's a shit ton of stuff still in boxes because there's no where to put it. It's not a lack of space problem either. It's things like books but not having a book shelf.

Aaaand even the *look* of the boxes bothers me. Like maybe I wouldn't have an issue with the boxes if they were all matching, same size plastic bins. OCD much? Damn straight.
